The star is the motivation to play. I mean, you scroll all the way down to find the big prize, and it has an explicit markup. Very rewarding from the beginning. though our friend is right, a button to empty the slot would be awesome.

Great start. However, is there a functionality available as of yet to sell/remove the items as to replace them with better items? If so then I would advise making such a functionality more visible to the players.
Be careful though. At first I was kinda annoyed by the game not allowing to sell a slot. But then I realize that this is meant to be speed run, with limited slot that the player need to think since the start of the game.
So depending on how you meant this game to be, that feature could be a detriment to the fun.

It's just small text scaled up. That happens when you don't use a proper font. :D
